SecondSky Terms of Service
Terms governing use of SecondSky cloud-backup services.
1. Service
SecondSky provides cloud-backup services for supported Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments. Service capabilities vary by the plan selected and by service configuration.
2. Plans and user minimums
Essential Backup is currently $4.99 per user per month with a 5-user minimum. Managed Backup is $5.99 per user per month with a 10-user minimum. Backup Assurance is $7.99 per user per month with a 10-user minimum.
3. Month-to-month service
SecondSky plans are month-to-month and do not require a long-term service contract. Customers may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring service after the applicable cancellation effective date.
4. Cancellation, refunds, and data after cancellation
Detailed cancellation timing, refund or proration rules, and the period for which backup data remains available after cancellation will be defined in the final customer billing and data-retention policy before paid service is launched. Customers should review the current policy presented at purchase.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining authorized access to their Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environment, accurate account and billing information, identifying protected users and workloads, and using the service lawfully.
6. SecondSky responsibilities
SecondSky will provide the service level purchased. Managed Backup and Backup Assurance include monitoring and recovery assistance as described on the applicable plan page. Backup Assurance additionally includes scheduled non-destructive recovery testing, a monthly Backup Assurance Report, and documented recovery-test results.
7. Third-party cloud services
SecondSky depends on third-party cloud productivity, backup, identity, payment, and infrastructure services. Those services remain subject to their own terms, availability, and technical limitations.
8. Security
Current documented security information is described on the SecondSky Security page. Customers remain responsible for security and administration of their own Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant.
9. Acceptable use
Customers may not use SecondSky to violate law, infringe rights, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse the service or supporting infrastructure.
10. Service changes
SecondSky may modify service features when required by security, platform changes, vendor capabilities, legal requirements, or product improvements.
11. Legal review before paid launch
Final warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, dispute provisions, and any required jurisdiction-specific terms must be approved before paid service is launched.
