SecondSky Privacy Policy
How SecondSky handles information associated with the website, customer relationship, support, billing, and cloud-backup service.
1. Information we collect
SecondSky may collect information customers provide directly, such as name, company, email address, support requests, service selections, protected-user quantities, and billing-related information. The website may also generate routine technical information such as IP address, browser information, and security or diagnostic logs.
2. Cloud-backup data
SecondSky provides a service that protects supported Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data using cloud-backup infrastructure. Backup content is processed to provide backup, retention, recovery, monitoring, testing, and reporting functions associated with the selected plan.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to provide and administer the service, process requests, provide support and recovery assistance, maintain security, communicate about the service, manage billing, improve operations, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service providers
SecondSky may use service providers for cloud-backup infrastructure, hosting, identity, communications, analytics, payment processing, security, and other operational functions.
5. Security
Customer backup data is protected using documented encryption and security capabilities described on the SecondSky Security page.
6. Data residency
The backup platform supports multiple data-residency regions. The applicable region for a SecondSky customer is determined by service configuration and availability.
7. Retention
Backup retention can depend on service configuration and backup-policy settings. The final customer policy will also define account, billing, support, and post-cancellation retention periods before paid service is launched.
8. Sharing and sale of personal information
SecondSky does not intend to sell customer backup content. Final disclosures concerning analytics, advertising technologies, statutory definitions of sale or sharing, and jurisdiction-specific opt-out rights will be based on technologies actually enabled on the production website.
9. Customer choices and rights
Customers may contact SecondSky about account information, privacy questions, or applicable data-rights requests. Rights depend on applicable law and the relationship between SecondSky, the customer organization, and the individual.
10. Children
SecondSky is a business cloud-backup service and is not directed to children.
11. Changes
SecondSky may update this Privacy Policy as the service, legal requirements, and operational practices evolve. The current version will be published here.
12. Contact
Privacy questions may be sent to support@secondsky.cloud.
Launch note: Final jurisdiction-specific privacy language should be reviewed after payment, analytics, contact-form, and onboarding systems are finalized.
